Aveyron Homes employs more than 130 people, in full and part time positions. The majority of the hours include the evenings and weekends, as most of our clients have day programs (either work or school). Aveyron Homes provides all necessary training for staff and opportunities to partake in training inservices in related topics. Staff are expected to work with the clients, complete usual household responsibilities, teach domestic skills, while enjoying many community opportunities such as movies, sports events, concerts, etc. at company expense with the clients.

We offer excellent benefits to our employees; in return we expect quality service from them. We offer generous Paid Personal Leave (PPL) to all staff who have eleven or more scheduled hours per week, shift differentials for daytime weekend shifts, overtime, double-time pay for holidays, an Education Reimbursement plan, and staff activities during the year. Full-time staff (35 scheduled hours per week or more) earn 8 paid holidays, medical insurance at a minimal cost per pay period, $15,000 life insurance, and short term disability insurance. A full Section 125 plan is in operation so that staff can pay out-of-pocket expenses and child care expenses before taxes. A Simple 401K plan with a 3% company contribution match is offered to eligible employees, as well as long-term disability insurance. Staff who are scheduled 20 or more hours per week are also eligible to enroll in our dental plan and voluntary Life insurance, which is available to dependents as well.
