Our funding is primarily from public sources such as Medical Assistance, Social Security, SSI, GRH, etc. These sources include, but are not limited to funding for the TBI and MR/RC waivers, PCA, CAC, and CADI programs. Our rates are set by mutual agreement with the county of financial responsibility for each client and with McLeod County. These rates are reviewed and renegotiated at least annually.
How are rates set? A screening document is completed, assessing the client's
abilities and needs. From that screening, a level of funding is
determined from a pre-existing rate structure. All services desired
must be paid for within that rate structure, sometimes meaning that
not all desired services may be available. Aveyron works hard to
provide a safe, comfortable, and pleasant living environment, while
maintaining a tight budget.
What can a client/family do to support
Aveyron? Aveyron Homes is a not-for-profit organization, with 501(c)3
status, which allows us to accept tax deductible donations from
groups and individuals alike. Another opportunity to support our
work is to keep legislators informed about our industry and work
with them to assure that financial supports are available through
the medical assistance and long term care funding sources. The more
elected officials know about Aveyron, our services, and the people
who rely on us for their care, the more likely they are to acknowledge
our efforts with their votes on various bills. If you are unsure of how to contact your particular elected officials, please contact Aveyron's main office.
